School Security System
The KDNFS School Security System was specifically developed, and custom designed for Pre-K through 12th Grade educational environments.
This system encompasses every aspect of school security and safety. School Security Testimony Still Relevant After Four Years
In April of 2018, KDNFS was invited to provide testimony on issues related to school security before a joint committee meeting of the New Jersey Legislature organized in the weeks after the mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.
This testimony is as relevant today in the wake of the mass shooting in Uvalde, TX as it was four years ago.

All School Security Specialists (SSS) are required the meet the KDNFS Standard.
- Must have minimum 20 years of law enforcement experience.
- Proven to have performed/served in a supervisory capacity within their respective law enforcement organization.
- Certified as a Resident State Armed Security Officer.
- Resident State Permit to Carry a Handgun by a Retired Police Officer. Must successfully complete firearms qualification, as mandated by the State of Residence guidelines for Retired Police Officers and LEOSA (H.R.218).
- Must successfully complete annual Active Shooter/All Hazards Crisis Response training.
- Certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
- Annual Mental Health and Criminal Background Checks.
