Captain (Ret.) Jaclyn Jiras, Ed.S., M.A., B.S., KDNFS Director of Business Affairs

Jaclyn Jiras is a retired New Jersey State Trooper and accomplished executive leader with more than 25 years of progressive law enforcement experience. Her background includes extensive expertise in administrative and operational management, labor relations, contract negotiations, mediation, workforce development, and organizational compliance. Throughout her career, Jaclyn successfully managed complex administrative functions, oversaw personnel and operations, and led initiatives involving human resources management and policy development. Recognized for her ability to navigate sensitive labor relations matters, Jaclyn has earned a reputation as a trusted liaison between leadership and employee bargaining units, delivering constructive outcomes through effective conflict resolution, strategic communication, and principled leadership.

As Director of Business Affairs for KDNFS, Jaclyn brings her leadership, training, and organizational expertise to the firm. In her role, she contributes to strategic operations, workforce development, and training initiatives, drawing upon her experience in curriculum design and instruction developed through police academy programs and university-level teaching as an Adjunct Professor. A confident public speaker and mentor, she continues to support high-performing teams through education, leadership, and professional development.

Captain (Ret.) Michael Tierney, KDNFS Director of Training

Captain (Ret.) Michael Tierney

Michael Tierney is a seasoned law enforcement and security professional with more than 25 years of experience dedicated to public safety, leadership, and community engagement. During his distinguished career with the New Jersey State Police, he demonstrated exceptional leadership while mentoring personnel at all organizational levels.

As the former Commandant of the New Jersey State Police Academy, Michael was responsible for overseeing recruit training, enforcing discipline, and managing academy operations. He played a critical role in shaping future state troopers through high standards, accountability, and leadership.

As Director of Training for KDNFS, Michael brings command-level experience and deep training expertise to the private security sector. In his role, he provides strategic insight and leadership, ensuring KDNFS personnel are prepared to meet the evolving security needs of corporate, governmental, and business clients.

Captain (Ret.) Lisa AckerKDNFS Director of Business Affairs

Captain (Ret.) Lisa Acker

Lisa Acker retired after a distinguished 25-year career with the New Jersey State Police, where she built a reputation for strong leadership, operational expertise, and community-focused service. Rising through the ranks from road trooper to Captain, she held key assignments across patrol operations, undercover investigations, academy instruction, recruiting, and executive leadership.

Lisa served as Bureau Chief and Executive Officer within the Community Outreach Bureau, leading statewide recruitment and selection initiatives, coordinating police academy training, and supporting trooper wellness through the Office of Peer Assistance. Her career also included service as a School Resource Officer and D.A.R.E. Officer, along with response to major critical incidents such as the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Sandy.

Her experience further includes high-profile security assignments, including deployment to Washington, D.C. for President Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration and providing security for Super Bowl XLVIII in East Rutherford, New Jersey. These roles strengthened her expertise in executive protection, critical incident response, large-scale event security, and interagency coordination.

As Director of Business Affairs for KDNFS, Lisa brings her proven public safety leadership and operational experience to the private sector, supporting business operations, client relations, and organizational strategy to ensure continued delivery of reliable, mission-driven security services.

KDNFS was founded in 2013 by Kevin DiPatri, following a full career with the New Jersey State Police. Jim Mullins joined the company shortly thereafter and now serves as Chief Operating Officer. KDNFS delivers private security services through rigorously trained and vetted law enforcement professionals. Entry-level security personnel meet stringent criteria, including a minimum of 20 years of law enforcement experience, firearm authorization, CPR and First Aid certification, and ongoing mental health and criminal background evaluations.
